Rochester FC to host MNUFC2 in preseason friendly
ROCHESTER FC TO HOST MNUFC2 FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE SEASON AT RCTC STADIUM
MLS NEXT Pro Match Brings Top-Level Professional Soccer Back to Rochester on May 2
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester FC is proud to announce it will serve as host for MNUFC2's MLS NEXT Pro regular-season match against St. Louis CITY2 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. CT at RCTC Stadium in Rochester, Minnesota.
This marks the second consecutive year Rochester FC has hosted an MNUFC2 match — making RCTC Stadium the only venue outside the Twin Cities to host the club in back-to-back seasons. Last August, Rochester welcomed MNUFC2 for their first-ever away match, with the team delivering a come-from-behind victory in front of an electric home crowd.
"We're honored to host MNUFC2 again and bring this caliber of soccer back to Rochester," said Club President Midhat Mujic. "Last year's match was something special — the energy at RCTC was real, and we expect May 2nd to be even bigger. This is professional soccer in our backyard, and Rochester shows up for it."
MNUFC2 competes in MLS NEXT Pro — one of the top developmental soccer leagues in the country and part of the same pipeline that launches players into Major League Soccer. Rochester FC, competing in USL League Two and the USL W League, is one of the region's only pre-professional clubs and has proudly partnered with MNUFC2 to bring this level of competition to southeastern Minnesota.
