Rochester FC Announces Acquisition of Med City FC

We are pleased to formally announce the successful acquisition of Med City FC, an esteemed soccer club with a foundation dating back to 2017. Med City FC has garnered recognition for its outstanding performance in the National Premier Soccer League, securing multiple conference championships and actively participating in regional tournaments.

Under new ownership, Med City FC will seamlessly integrate into Rochester FC. This strategic move positions us to provide a robust development pathway for local players while consolidating the highest echelons of soccer in Rochester under a unified club.

Former owner Frank Spaeth will continue his involvement in the Rochester soccer scene, playing a significant role within Rochester FC. Spaeth's exemplary management of Med City FC has laid the groundwork for success, and we aim to build upon and enhance the legacy created by him and his family. Collaborating with Spaeth and the Med City family, our collective endeavor is to craft something extraordinary—a soccer experience that the Rochester community can anticipate and enjoy throughout the year.

"It's an exciting time for soccer in Rochester and a great time for this to happen. I'm looking forward to seeing where Rochester FC goes moving forward. The future is definitely bright for the beautiful game in the Med City!" - Former Med City FC owner Frank Spaeth
